​​We support developing medics through the Rescue Med Academy, empowering them to improve patient outcomes by building clinical confidence, decision-making, and practical skills. Our goal is to ensure responders can act decisively and effectively when it matters most.

We’re committed to raising standards in pre-hospital care and encourage all learners to join our Responder+ network for continued support and professional development. We also welcome partnerships with businesses delivering pre-hospital care services and aim to support providers who align with our values and high clinical standards.

FREC 3 Skills Development Course - £160pp

Refresh your knowledge. Practise your skills. Progress with confidence.

This 2-day, 14-hour CPD course is designed specifically for responders who are midway through their FREC 3 certificate (around 12–24 months post-qualification). Whether you're working in the field or preparing to progress to FREC 4, this course offers a hands-on opportunity to revisit, refine, and practise the essential clinical skills that can fade over time.

What is included?

  • Scenario-based learning to reinforce assessment and decision-making

  • Refresher sessions on airway management, medical emergencies, trauma care, and more

  • Individual and group feedback from experienced instructors

  • Realistic simulations to build confidence in rarely used but critical interventions

  • A supportive environment to ask questions, troubleshoot challenges, and reconnect with core competencies

 

This course provides 14 hours of certified CPD and is ideal for anyone looking to maintain clinical competence, prepare for further study, or simply stay sharp in the field of pre-hospital care.

First Aid Qualifications

As a centre, we are accredited to teach the following First Aid courses: 

Level 3 Qualifications

  • First Aid at Work (RQF) – 3 days, 2 units

  • Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF) – 1 day, 1 unit

  • Emergency First Aid at Work (Blended) – 1 unit

  • First Aid at Work (Annual Refresher) – 1 unit

  • Paediatric First Aid (RQF) – 2 days, 2 units

  • Emergency Paediatric First Aid (RQF) – 1 day, 1 unit

  • Paediatric First Aid (Annual Refresher) – 1 unit

  • Paediatric First Aid (Blended) – 2 units

  • Forestry First Aid +F (RQF) – 1 unit

  • Combined First Aid at Work & Paediatric First Aid (RQF) – 1 unit

 

Level 2 Qualifications

  • Basic Life Support for Adults and Children (RQF) – 1 unit

  • Basic Life Support & Management of Anaphylaxis (RQF) – 1 unit

  • Basic Life Support & Safe Use of an AED (RQF) – 1 unit

  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation & AED (RQF) – 1 unit

  • First Aid Essentials (RQF) – 1 unit

  • Activity First Aid (RQF) – 2 units

  • citizenAID (RQF) – 1 unit

  • Combined Emergency First Aid at Work & Emergency Paediatric First Aid (RQF) – 1 unit

This is not a certificate gaining exercise, because the impact actually means something.
