FREC 3 Requalification Course – 2025 Limited to 6 learners per course – Book early to secure your place Maintain your qualification and operational readiness with our QA Level 3 Certificate in First Response Emergency Care (FREC 3) Requalification Course, delivered by industry-expert healthcare professionals, including Specialist Paramedics with current frontline experience. This course is designed for learners who already hold a valid FREC 3 qualification and require formal requalification to remain compliant and competent in a pre-hospital care role. Course Overview Duration: 3 Days Time: 09:00 – 17:00 daily Location: Edinburgh, with access to outdoor and simulated training environments Class Size: Maximum of 6 learners per course for high engagement and individual feedback The course provides a structured refresher of core FREC 3 knowledge and skills, focusing on current best practice, clinical decision-making, and practical competence. Learners are expected to arrive with an existing foundation in first response emergency care and be ready to actively participate in practical sessions. Across the three days, you’ll revise key theoretical principles, refresh critical life-saving skills, and apply them in realistic scenarios. The course culminates in formal theory and practical reassessment in line with awarding body requirements, alongside immersive scenario-based exercises to consolidate learning. Training includes: • Road traffic collision simulations • Live casualty moulage and roleplay • Outdoor and low-light emergency scenarios • Ambulance and operational simulations reflecting real-world conditions We believe requalification should confirm not just knowledge retention, but real-world readiness. Cancellation Policy
At Rescue Med, we understand that plans can change, and we aim to be as fair and transparent as possible while ensuring the smooth running of our courses. Cancellations 1 month or more before the course start date – full refund. Between 2–4 weeks before the course start date – 50% refund. Between 1–2 weeks before the course start date – 25% refund. Within 7 days of the course start date – no refund will be issued. Non-attendance (“no-shows”) – no refund. Refunds apply to course fees only. Any additional costs (e.g. travel, accommodation) remain the responsibility of the learner. Rescheduling Requests to reschedule made within 2 weeks of the course start date will incur a £150 administration fee. Learners must attend the full duration of the course to meet assessment and accreditation requirements. Provider Cancellations Rescue Med reserves the right to postpone or reschedule courses in order to meet operational or business needs. In the event of force majeure (e.g. severe weather, instructor illness, unforeseen incidents), Rescue Med will make every effort to accommodate affected learners. Where Rescue Med cancels or reschedules a course, no additional fees will be charged, and learners will be offered either a full refund or transfer to an alternative course date.
