Manage Emergencies with Confidence
Qualsafe Award Level 3 Award in First Response Emergency Care - 2 day Recognition of Prior Learning Course. Delivered with focus on Wilderness and Prolonged Field Care. FREC 3 is recognised by the Faculty of Pre-Hospital Care - Royal College of surgeons and forms the foundation of Pre-Hospital Care Management.
The course will be ran at Rescue Med Training Academy
Midlothian Innovation Centre, Midlothian, Edinburgh, EH25 9RE
Furthermore, through out collaboration with the KCL Wilderness Society, we will be Launching courses in London in due course. Location TBD


Earn While You Learn
Once completed the QA FREC 3 Course
Work as an Event Medic Earning £13 to £16 per hour. Gain REAL patient contact and develop your skills through hands on experience.
Who can Attend?
Year 2 and above Med students, you will need to supply proof of enrolment and current year.
Is this Recognised?
Yes, accredited by Qualsafe Awards and regulated by Ofqual. This certificate sits on the National Qualifications Framework and is recognised by the RCS, HSE and SIA
Is this good for my CV?
ABSOLUTELY. The qualification demonstrates recognised practical Pre-Hospital care training and allows the holder to gain paid work as a FREC 3 medic within the private sector.
