Level 3 Award in Administering Emergency Medical Gases (RQF) 1-Day Accredited Course | Essential for Responders | £110 Learn to safely administer oxygen and analgesic gas in emergency care settings with this nationally recognised Level 3 Award — a must-have skill for FREC 3, FREC 4, event medics, and anyone working in pre-hospital care or first response roles. Course Overview Duration: 1 Day (9:00–17:00) Location: Rescue Med Training Hub – Roslin, Edinburgh Awarding Body: Qualsafe Awards (RQF Level 3) Cost: £95 per learner Includes training, practical assessment, certification, and use of medical equipment. This course is taught by experienced paramedics and builds your competence and confidence in the storage, handling, and administration of emergency medical gases. 🧠 What You’ll Learn Legal, regulatory, and clinical considerations Indications and contraindications for oxygen and Entonox® Safe handling, storage and identification of gas cylinders Correct equipment setup and delivery methods (masks, tubing, regulators, flowmeters) Monitoring patient response to gas administration Scene safety, infection control and patient reassessment Includes both theory and practical assessment in line with Qualsafe qualification standards. 🎓 Who Should Attend? Cancellation Policy

At Rescue Med, we understand that plans can change, and we aim to be as fair and transparent as possible while ensuring the smooth running of our courses. Cancellations 1 month or more before the course start date – full refund. Between 2–4 weeks before the course start date – 50% refund. Between 1–2 weeks before the course start date – 25% refund. Within 7 days of the course start date – no refund will be issued. Non-attendance (“no-shows”) – no refund. Refunds apply to course fees only. Any additional costs (e.g. travel, accommodation) remain the responsibility of the learner. Rescheduling Requests to reschedule made within 2 weeks of the course start date will incur a £150 administration fee. Learners must attend the full duration of the course to meet assessment and accreditation requirements. Provider Cancellations Rescue Med reserves the right to postpone or reschedule courses in order to meet operational or business needs. In the event of force majeure (e.g. severe weather, instructor illness, unforeseen incidents), Rescue Med will make every effort to accommodate affected learners. Where Rescue Med cancels or reschedules a course, no additional fees will be charged, and learners will be offered either a full refund or transfer to an alternative course date.
