Introduction To ECGs

- Learn what ECGs are and what the squiggly lines mean,

- How to acquire 3 and 12 lead ECGs,

- Interpret basic ECGs and learn to recognise the abnormal,

- Understand Shockable and Non Shockable Rhythms.

- We will go over Normal Sinus Rhythm, Tachycardic Sinus Rhythm, Bradycardic Sinus Rhythm, Ventricular Fibrillation, Ventricular Tachycardia, Asystole and Pulseless Electrical Activity.

Paediatrics Masterclass

Join Rescue Med’s Medical Executive, Dr Narrie, Emergency Paediatrician, for an in-depth masterclass focused on the challenges of managing sick and injured children in the emergency setting.

This full-day CPD event will explore high-risk presentations, structured paediatric assessment, and practical approaches to emergency care that give responders the confidence to make safe, effective decisions.

The Collision Course – RTC & Incident Management CPD

When the unexpected happens on the road, responders must act quickly, safely, and decisively. The Collision Course is a 7-hour CPD day that gives you the knowledge and confidence to manage road traffic collisions and incident scenes from first arrival to casualty care.

You will learn how to:

Identify and control scene hazards at road traffic collisions
Establish fend-off positions and create a safe working zone
Perform rapid casualty triage and prioritisation
Deliver safe and effective trauma care at crash scenes and extrication techniques
Apply structured incident management principles under pressure (JESIP)

The afternoon brings immersive RTC simulations - from single-patient emergencies to multi-casualty challenges - where you’ll put your learning into practice in realistic, high-pressure scenarios.

STOP THE BLEED - Catastrophic Haemorrhage Course

In line with the introduction in Martyn's Law - We have designed a 2.5 hour long integrative session where delegates will learn life saving skills to stop catastrophic bleeding.

- Learn how to apply tourniquets, haemostatic gauze, and trauma bandages.

Level 2 Award CPR and AED

Aprox 3200 Out of Hospital Cardiac Arrests Happen per year in Scotland - where only 1 in 10 people survive to hospital. We can all make a difference when it really matters by recognising an arrest early and starting chest compressions really buys time for that patient. Does your business have an AED, do you know how to use it in an Emergency?

- This half day course is taught by our Out of Hospital Cardiac Arrest Advanced Life Support Paramedics who are there to help you build confidence and give you the skills to save a life.

- Experienced instructors allows us to dispel myths and answer your questions properly.

- Gain simulated experience and practice in the deployment of AED and effective CPR.

Each Learner will gain a Qualsafe Awards Accredited Level 2 Award in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Automated External Defibrillation (RQF)
