FREC 3 Course – 2025 Updated Qualification Limited to 6 learners per course – Book early to secure your place Take your first step into the world of pre-hospital emergency care with our QA Level 3 Certificate in First Response Emergency Care (FREC 3) – the newly updated 2025 version, delivered by industry-expert healthcare professionals, including Specialist Paramedics with frontline experience. Course Overview Duration: 5 Days (Monday–Friday) Time: 09:00 – 17:00 daily Location: Edinburgh, with access to outdoor and simulated training environments Class Size: Maximum of 6 learners per course for individual support and high engagement Our course blends theory and hands-on practical training, preparing you for real-world incidents with confidence and competence. You'll cover the full scope of foundational pre-hospital emergency care. It is advisable the each learner is familiar with First Aid Practice, however, be ready to step up your knowledge. On Friday, you’ll complete both practical and theory assessments, plus a full day of immersive, scenario-led group and individual exercises that bring everything together. Cancellation Policy
At Rescue Med, we understand that plans can change, and we aim to be as fair and transparent as possible while ensuring the smooth running of our courses. Cancellations 1 month or more before the course start date – full refund. Between 2–4 weeks before the course start date – 50% refund. Between 1–2 weeks before the course start date – 25% refund. Within 7 days of the course start date – no refund will be issued. Non-attendance (“no-shows”) – no refund. Refunds apply to course fees only. Any additional costs (e.g. travel, accommodation) remain the responsibility of the learner. Rescheduling Requests to reschedule made within 2 weeks of the course start date will incur a £150 administration fee. Learners must attend the full duration of the course to meet assessment and accreditation requirements. Provider Cancellations Rescue Med reserves the right to postpone or reschedule courses in order to meet operational or business needs. In the event of force majeure (e.g. severe weather, instructor illness, unforeseen incidents), Rescue Med will make every effort to accommodate affected learners. Where Rescue Med cancels or reschedules a course, no additional fees will be charged, and learners will be offered either a full refund or transfer to an alternative course date.
